Copper Creek Handlesets

Copper Creek handlesets include exterior entry hardware for residential front and side doors. The current live assortment includes Colonial, Heritage, and Fashion single-cylinder handlesets, a Fashion dummy handleset, and interconnected Copper Creek locksets with passage and keyed functions.

Compare handleset or interconnect function, exterior trim dimensions, grip and mounting spacing, door thickness, bore preparation, backset, latch and deadbolt configuration, cylinder and keying details, interior trim, handing when specified, and finish. Confirm the complete product configuration before ordering because standard handlesets, dummy trim, and interconnected sets use different hardware and door preparation.

Choosing Copper Creek Handlesets

Copper Creek handlesets provide coordinated exterior entry trim for residential doors. The current active assortment includes Colonial, Heritage, and Fashion single-cylinder handlesets, a Fashion dummy exterior handleset, and interconnected locksets using Bulldog and Avery designs. These products do not all use the same function or preparation, so identify the exact type of hardware needed before selecting a style.

For a conventional single-cylinder handleset, check the deadbolt and latch preparation, backset, door thickness, cross-bore and edge-bore dimensions, exterior grip mounting spacing, interior trim, cylinder and keyway information, and finish. Handleset grip dimensions are particularly important on replacement doors because the lower mounting point can differ between designs.

Dummy handleset trim is intended for a non-latching or inactive application and should not be treated as a locking entry set. Interconnected models require their own bore spacing and lock preparation and may combine coordinated upper and lower locking components. Review the individual product specifications to confirm function, handing where applicable, included interior trim, latches, strikes, fasteners, and other supplied parts.

When several exterior doors are being coordinated, establish function and fit first, then select compatible style and finish. Keyed openings should also be checked against the desired keying plan. Verify the complete hardware against the door, frame, manufacturer documentation, project specifications, and any applicable requirements before installation.
