Lighting Accessories and Replacement Fixture Components

Lighting accessories cover a broad group of parts used to complete, adapt, control, or repair compatible fixtures. Depending on the product family, these components can include glass shades, downrods, ceiling adapters, controllers, receivers, connecting hardware, power-related components, and installation accessories. Start with the fixture or lighting-system manufacturer and model family whenever a replacement part is needed.

Decorative replacement components such as glass shades must match the fixture’s attachment method and dimensions, not just its appearance. Downrods and sloped-ceiling adapters also need to match the fixture family, thread or connection type, weight requirements, and installation conditions. Confirm the exact dimensions and listed compatibility before substituting one accessory for another.

Controls, receivers, tape-light components, connectors, and related electrical accessories require additional attention to voltage, wattage or load limits, control type, and system compatibility. A component that physically connects to a lighting system is not automatically electrically compatible. Follow the manufacturer’s specifications for the complete lighting system and use appropriately rated components for the installation location.

For repair or expansion work, compare the existing fixture or system label with the product details before ordering.
