Cabinet Drop Pulls

Shop cabinet drop pulls, bail pulls, ring pulls, and other hanging-handle styles for cabinet doors, drawers, vanities, built-ins, and furniture. The assortment includes traditional and decorative drop-pull designs from brands such as Century Hardware, Top Knobs, Rusticware, Deltana, Amerock, Elements, and others. Before ordering, compare center-to-center spacing when the pull uses two mounting points, overall width and height, projection, backplate dimensions, drop or bail movement, mounting hardware, material, and finish. For replacement projects, matching the existing hole spacing is usually the easiest way to avoid drilling new holes or exposing the previous mounting marks.

Choosing Cabinet Drop Pulls and Bail Pulls

Cabinet drop pulls use a hanging or movable handle element rather than the fixed grip found on many bar or arch pulls. Depending on the design, the handle may be a bail, ring, hinged drop, or another decorative form attached to one or more mounting points. These pulls are frequently used on furniture-inspired cabinetry, traditional drawers, vanities, built-ins, and decorative storage pieces.

For two-post pulls, center-to-center measurement is the key replacement dimension. Measure from the center of one mounting hole to the center of the other rather than measuring the outside edges of the pull. The same center-to-center size can appear on pulls with very different overall widths, backplates, and drop shapes, so also compare the footprint of the hardware on the drawer or door.

Single-point ring and flush-ring pulls use a different mounting relationship from standard two-hole bail pulls. Review the mounting method, recess or cutout requirements if any, fastener length, and cabinet thickness before ordering. A pull that requires a recessed cup or flush installation may need more preparation than a surface-mounted decorative drop pull.

Projection and movement affect everyday use. A hanging bail or drop needs enough clearance to move without striking raised trim, drawer edges, or adjacent hardware. On closely spaced drawers, check both the resting position and the full range of movement. Backplates can help cover previous mounting marks, but their dimensions should be compared carefully when replacing older furniture or cabinet hardware.

Once the mounting requirements are confirmed, choose a style and finish that coordinate with nearby knobs, hinges, backplates, and other cabinet hardware. Traditional drop pulls can add furniture-like detail to cabinetry, while simpler ring and bail profiles work across a wider range of designs. For replacement work, hole spacing and footprint should take priority over appearance so the new hardware fits the existing cabinet preparation.
