The Kwikset 740H Hancock is a keyed-entry door knob for exterior or secured interior doors. A key operates the exterior side, while the interior turn piece locks and unlocks the door from inside.
This knob uses a 5-pin pin-and-tumbler cylinder. The conventional 5-pin pin-and-tumbler cylinder supports normal keyed operation and professional keying services. The adjustable latch accommodates common 2-3/8″ and 2-3/4″ backsets, and the trim is intended for standard residential door preparation.
The lockset includes the keyed exterior trim, interior turn-piece trim, and the latch/strike hardware identified by the selected product configuration. We do ask that your return meets the following rules:
- RGA request must be made within 60 days of receiving your order.
- Products are in original packaging.
- Products have not been installed or used.
- Clearance returns are not accepted.
Do I pay a restocking fee?
All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Do I pay the return shipping?
We do not pay the return shipping unless an error was made on our end. We suggest shipping the return with FedEx or UPS so that proper tracking can be obtained.
What if my order was damaged or defective?
Please email cs@factorydirecthardware.com within 3 days of receiving the order to report the damage with pictures. We'll work to get replacements to you in a timely fashion.
How can I make an exchange?
We technically don't "exchange" orders. We find the easiest way to handle an exchange is to make your return and place a new order for the correct product. We will waive the 15% restocking fee if you let us know your new order number.
