Strike Plates

Shop strike plates and door latch plates for residential and commercial doors, including latch strikes, deadbolt strike plates, extended-lip strikes, full-lip strikes, T-strikes, ANSI and ASA-style commercial strikes, dust boxes, and replacement frame hardware.

Compare plate dimensions, opening size, lip length, corner profile, screw spacing, frame preparation, latch or bolt type, and finish. Strike plates must match the lock or latch and the door-frame preparation, so measurements are especially important when replacing existing hardware.

Door Strike Plates for Latches, Deadbolts, and Replacement Hardware

A strike plate mounts to the door frame where the latch bolt, deadbolt, or other locking component enters when the door closes. The strike forms the frame-side part of the locking system and must align correctly with the latch or bolt for reliable operation.

Latch strike plates are commonly paired with door knobs, levers, and cylindrical locksets. Deadbolt strike plates receive the extended deadbolt bolt and may use standard, full-lip, security, dust-box, or other configurations. Extended-lip strikes project farther from the frame and are available in different lip lengths for openings that need additional clearance.

Commercial strike plates include ANSI and ASA-style configurations used with cylindrical locks, mortise locks, deadbolts, exit devices, and other commercial door hardware. These designs vary by overall plate size, opening shape, screw pattern, lip length, and frame preparation.

For replacement work, measure the existing strike plate before removal and compare the overall length and width, latch or bolt opening, lip projection, corner shape, screw spacing, and frame cutout. A strike that looks similar may still differ enough to require frame modification if these dimensions do not match.

Related hardware includes door latches and deadbolts, which determine the latch or bolt configuration the strike plate must receive.
