Commercial storeroom door levers are used on storage rooms, mechanical spaces, supply closets, service areas and other openings that require controlled entry. A typical storeroom function remains locked on the outside and is operated by a key for entry, while the inside lever remains free for egress. Always confirm the manufacturer's exact function because operating details can vary by lock family.

The collection includes cylindrical storeroom levers as well as some mortise and exit-device trim configurations associated with storeroom operation. These products are not interchangeable simply because they share the same function name. Identify the door preparation and lock type first, then choose the correct function within that hardware family.

For cylindrical lock replacements, compare backset, cross-bore and edge-bore dimensions, door thickness, latch and strike preparation, rose or escutcheon dimensions and handing requirements. Mortise storeroom locks require the existing mortise pocket, lock-body dimensions, trim and cylinder arrangement to match the replacement product.

Keying is another important consideration. Commercial storeroom levers may use conventional keyed cylinders, manufacturer-specific keyways or interchangeable-core preparations. Products supplied less cylinder or less core require compatible components before the opening is complete. Facility projects should confirm the existing key system before ordering replacement locks.
