The Emtek EM28PSL234R is a 28-degree passage door latch for compatible Emtek passage knobs and levers. Its 28° mechanism requires less handle rotation to retract the latch than Emtek's standard 45° latch. This non-adjustable model has a fixed 2-3/4″ backset and a radius-corner faceplate.
Use this latch to restore non-locking passage operation when the existing Emtek hardware uses the same 28° mechanism, backset, and faceplate preparation. It is not a universal retrofit for standard or otherwise incompatible latch mechanisms.
