Schlage Interconnected Locks & S200 Series Locksets

Schlage interconnected locks combine a latch and deadbolt with an interior mechanism that retracts both together. Schlage discontinued the S200 Series in December 2024, and this collection contains discontinued models. Historical model information can help identify an existing lock, but it does not indicate current availability.

For a replacement project, record the model number, door handing, thickness, backset and bore spacing before comparing hardware. Explore Schlage ALX Series locks and Schlage ND Series locks for other commercial lever applications, and confirm the required function and door preparation before choosing a different lock family.

Choosing Schlage Interconnected Locks for an Existing Door

An interconnected lockset combines two locking components with an interior connection between them. When correctly installed, operating the inside lever retracts the latch and deadbolt together. That operation is an important distinction when matching an existing entrance set: a separate lever and deadbolt do not automatically provide the same function. Begin with the model number on your existing hardware or project documentation, then compare the complete lockset configuration. A similar lever shape or finish alone is not enough to establish that a replacement will fit and operate as required.

The Schlage S200 Series was discontinued in December 2024. Factory Direct Hardware has identified the models in this collection as discontinued, including the S210 Flair left-hand interconnected entrance lockset. Existing product pages may remain accessible for reference, but they should not be treated as an offer of available stock. Use older model numbers and specifications to identify installed hardware, and confirm the availability and suitability of any proposed replacement before ordering. Models and finishes shown in historical catalogs are not a current inventory list.

Check the door preparation carefully before selecting a replacement. Record the door thickness, backset and distance between the latch and deadbolt bores, and compare those measurements with the installation documents for the exact model. Confirm handing for the Flair lever and check the strike preparation at the frame as well. Keying requirements also deserve attention when the new lock must work with an existing key system. Use the Schlage S and S200 Series catalog for historical model information, and consult Schlage’s S200 technical resources for installation instructions and templates. These historical documents support identification of existing hardware and do not indicate current availability.

If your project calls for a different commercial lever function, compare our Schlage ALX Series and Schlage ND Series collections. Those collections cover other lock families and should be evaluated against the door and project requirements; an ordinary commercial lever is not automatically a replacement for an interconnected entrance set. For help identifying an older lock, provide the full model number, photographs of both sides of the door and the relevant measurements. Confirm the replacement configuration before modifying an existing door or ordering hardware for multiple openings.
