LCN door closers use series-specific components, so the closer model is the best starting point when selecting a replacement part. Identify the existing closer series and compare the part description with the original arm, cover, plate, shoe, bracket, cylinder, or other component. A part intended for one LCN series should not be assumed to fit another simply because the dimensions or appearance seem similar.

Closer arms are available in regular, parallel-arm, hold-open, and other configurations depending on the series and installation. Drop plates and mounting shoes adapt certain closer bodies and arms to specific door or frame conditions. When replacing these components, check the mounting position, reveal, fastener pattern, handing where applicable, and the exact LCN series listed for the part.

Covers, brackets, supports, and service components can also be model-specific. Finish should be coordinated only after compatibility is confirmed. For existing installations, model markings on the closer body and the shape or part number of the original component can help narrow the correct replacement hardware.
