GEO Door Accessories

GEO door accessories include supporting hardware for residential doors, with active products such as ball catches and strikes, rigid and spring door stops, hinge-pin stops, wall stops, and related door hardware. These pieces help complete door operation, protect walls and trim, or replace worn accessory components.

Choose by the specific function and mounting location, then compare dimensions, faceplate or base shape, projection, adjustment range, screw pattern, and finish. Replacement catches and stops should be matched to the existing door or frame preparation whenever possible.

Choosing GEO Door Accessories

GEO door accessories cover smaller hardware components that support door operation and protect nearby surfaces. The active assortment includes ball catches and strikes along with several styles of door stops. These products are useful for new installations and for replacing worn or damaged hardware where the main lock or hinge system remains in service.

For ball catches, compare the catch body dimensions, faceplate shape, adjustment method, and strike configuration. A replacement catch needs to fit the existing door preparation and align with the strike in the frame or head jamb. Round-corner and other faceplate shapes are not interchangeable without possible preparation changes, so measure the existing cutout before ordering.

Door stops should be selected according to where they can be mounted and what needs protection. Rigid and spring baseboard or wall-mounted stops project from a fixed surface, while hinge-pin stops mount at the hinge and can be useful where drilling a wall or baseboard is undesirable. Dome and low-profile stops work from the floor, and wall stops place the bumper at the point where the door or hardware would otherwise contact the wall.

Projection is an important measurement for stops because the bumper must contact the door before the knob, lever, pull, or other hardware reaches the wall. Also check the mounting-base diameter or dimensions, screw pattern, hinge-pin compatibility when applicable, and the construction of the mounting surface. Heavy or frequently used doors may require a different stop style than a light interior door.

For replacements, bring together the functional measurements before choosing finish. Matching the existing preparation can reduce extra drilling and visible repair work. Review the individual GEO product listing for included screws, strikes, bumpers, adjustment pieces, or other components so the selected accessory contains what the installation requires.
