Bar Cabinet Pulls

Shop bar cabinet pulls for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, drawers, built-ins, pantry doors, furniture, and appliance-style panels. Bar pulls use a straight or nearly straight grip profile and are available in a wide range of center-to-center sizes, overall lengths, projections, materials, and finishes. For replacement hardware, measure the existing screw holes from center to center before ordering. For new cabinetry, compare pull length with the size of the door or drawer front, then check projection, mounting hardware, cabinet thickness, and clearance from adjacent doors, walls, and appliances.

How to Choose Bar Cabinet Pulls

Bar cabinet pulls are a versatile handle style for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, drawers, built-ins, furniture, pantry doors, and other storage cabinetry. Their relatively straight grip makes them suitable for both modern and transitional spaces, but the category includes many variations in end shape, thickness, material, and overall proportion. Start with the mounting-hole spacing before comparing style or finish.

Center-to-center measurement is the distance from the center of one mounting screw to the center of the other. It is the critical measurement for replacement pulls because the new hardware must match the existing holes if you want to avoid drilling. Overall pull length is different from center-to-center size and can extend well beyond the mounting points, so both dimensions should be checked.

Projection determines how far the pull extends from the cabinet surface and affects finger clearance as well as interference with nearby doors, walls, appliances, or corner cabinets. Longer bar pulls can work well on wide drawers and tall doors, while shorter sizes may be more proportional on smaller fronts. Adjustable pulls can provide flexibility where existing hole spacing does not match a fixed standard size.

Material and finish affect both appearance and feel. Steel, zinc, brass, and other materials can be offered in matte black, satin nickel, chrome, brass, bronze, and additional finish families. For a coordinated project, use related sizes and finishes across cabinet doors and drawers while verifying each pull's exact dimensions, supplied screws, and cabinet-thickness requirements before installation.
