Air Pro Warranty and Return Policy

What is Covered

VMI Inc. warrants its Air-Pro brand products to the original user, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of purchase.

VMI Inc., at its option will repair or replace the complete unit or any defective component without charge providing that, if requested, the product or defective component is promptly returned, prepaid to the address below. This warranty may be voided if any unauthorized service, alterations or repairs are made to the product.

What is Not Covered

VMI Inc. disclaims and excludes any liability for implied warranties or for incidental or consequential damages wherever permitted by law. There are no implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Return Policy

All Blower Unites have a Three Year Warranty. Proof of purchase (I.E. receipt or invoice) and serial number are necessary to receive service.

Return for credit can only be accepted within 30 days of the original invoice. All shortcomings, discrepancies, etc must be reported within 4 business days of receipt, VMI Inc. will not be responsible liable thereafter.

Custom applications are not returnable.

All credits are given based on original invoice pricing. Refund checks will be mailed within 14 business days from the date of the returned merchandise.

Once a RMA number is issued it is only valid for 30 days, and only covers items listed on original request. The items are tested only for the problem reported, please describe the problem clearly.

DAMAGES: All damaged units must be reported within 72 hours of receipt. Damages must be noted on Bill of Lading / Shipping Documents at time of receipt. (Unless concealed - no outside carton damage visible). Any defacing or re-work done to the product, including labels and all components of blower, voids warranty. RMA Number must be written clearly on the top of the box being returned, or our warehouse will reject shipment.

ORDER IN ERROR/WRONG SIZE: Parts purchased in error, wrong size, etc. are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Custom applications are not returnable. Credit will be issued once product is returned and inspected. Credit will not be issued on returned product that is damaged, defaced, or does not contain complete original packaging and ALL original contents. RMA Number must be written clearly on the top of the box being returned, or our warehouse will reject shipment.

ALL HOODS MUST BE INSPECTED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING THE PRODUCT. IF YOU RECEIVE THE HOOD FROM FREIGHT COMPANY WITH VISIBLE DAMAGES TO CRATE OR BOX – NOTE ON BILL OF LADING WITH DRIVER ACKNOWLEDMENT OF DAMAGES AND NOTIFY VMI INC 1-888-547-9880. BE SURE TO OBTAIN COPY OF BILL OF LADING WITH NOTED DAMAGE. IMMEDIATELY DOUBLE CHECK FOR ANY DEFECTS OR DIMENSIONAL PROBLEMS.

DO NOT STAIN, PAINT, OR ATTMEPT TO REPAIR THE HOOD WITH ANY DEFECTS OR PROBLEMS, WE CANNOT HELP YOU IF HOOD IS STAINED OR PAINTED.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON WOOD HOODS.

INSPECT HOOD UPON RECEIPT, IF HOOD IS NOT MADE TO DRAWING YOU SIGNED OFF ON, NOTIFY VMI 1-888-547-9880 WITHIN 24 HOURS. DO NOT PAINT OR STAIN YOUR HOOD IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES ON DIMENSIONS OR SHIPPING DAMAGES.
