Standard Mortis Lock for Von Duprin Exit Devices
Von Duprin® is proof positive that form and function are one and beautifully the same. The essence of a Greek goddess who appeared in the dreams of mariners is reborn in the household fashion label Von Duprin, which exemplifies inspiration, beauty, performance and reliability. It's a premium faucet brand that promises distinctive design, inventive faucets and accessories that make a fashion statement in the home.
The 7500 is the standard mortise lock used on all Von Duprin mortise lock exit devices. It is available separately for replacement use only. This Electric mortise lock has all the versatility and advantages of the standard mortise lock device, plus the advantage of being electrically controlled by a remote switching device, an access control system or an automatic fire alarm system. Available for use with the 98 / 99 series devices. When unlocked, the door remains latched, preserving the fire rating of the door and making it particularly useful where codes permit locking, but require unlocking during a fire emergency. The 7500 locks and unlocks electrically and cannot be locked or unlocked mechanically. The outside trim cylinder retracts the latch bolt for mechanical override, night latch function. The 7500 lock contains a SPDT signal to monitor the outside trim condition (locked or unlocked) and a second SPDT signal switch to monitor the latch bolt.
Over the years, Von Duprin has been an innovator in many new concepts to the industry. Currently, Von Duprin manufactures the widest range of exit devices and outside trim operations, all designed to meet the needs of architects and building owners.
